A few words on terminology: There is a confusing multitude of names in the world of Relationship Psychotherapy. You may be looking for Relationship Counselling or Relationship Therapy; Couple Therapy or Couple Counselling; Marriage Counselling or Marriage Therapy; or even Marriage Guidance Counselling. These are all broadly the same. Where there are differences, they are generally only in length and depth. I tend to use the terms interchangeably and work in all modalities across all types of relationship equally: whether you are married or not, long-term partners or more recent, separated or together, heterosexual, gay or lesbian.
